Construction Project Control

As well as managing individual projects, we also act as our Client’s internal PMO by planning, documenting, directing and reporting large work streams at the macro level. We have undertaken this role with prime engineering consultants, contractors throughout the UAE.
Project planning is at the heart of the project life cycle, keeping all involved parties informed as to where the project is going and how we are going to get there. We define project deliverables and requirements, documenting master delivery programmes to create the project schedule.
These plans guide Teams through the implementation and closure phases of the project, managing time, cost, quality, changes, risk, and related issues. A competent project plan aids control in ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Pre-contract services start from feasibility studies, project brief, concept design, preliminary design, detailed design, tender preparation and tendering and award processes.
During this phase of the project, we support the clients in Contracts Administration, Contractual correspondence, interim payment certifications, scheduling & control, cost control, stakeholder meetings, risk management
During tendering process, we issue tenders on behalf of the client, coordinate with all participants, handle tender queries and answers, create and issue addendums, receive tenders, prepare comparative, conduct negotiations, prepare final tender report, and provide the client with recommendation for the award.

We review and administer construction contracts including bespoke contracts and FIDIC Red, Green, Silver and Yellow Book, on behalf of our clients to ensure parties are held accountable and agreed deliverables are met.
Post-contract services start from award of the contract and include project execution and closing processes.
During this phase of the project, several project processes take precedence like contract compilation & signing, authority approvals and permits, collection of bonds and insurances form the contractor, Advance payments, mobilization, issuance of final construction drawings, execution of works, interim payments, change management, risk management, HSE management, quality assurance & control, schedule monitoring, contractual documentation, progress meetings, periodic reports to the clients & stakeholders. Approval of material & equipment, Inspections of the works.
Finally, inspection of works, testing and commissioning, final authority approvals, warranties and guaranties, training, taking over of the works, interim payment, close out documentation, defect liability period, final acceptance of the works, discharge and final payment.
